Judy K. DeVolder Nutt Scholarship

Family and friends established the MCCF Judy K. DeVolder Nutt Scholarship fund after Judy passed away. Judy served as a nurse’s aide and the scholarship established in her name helps support students who are pursuing a nursing career.

Judy’s son Rod Nutt added that his mother was a faithful mother of 5 children sacrificing the career she always dreamed of. While her children were young she worked as a nurse’s aide for a few years and later worked as a dental assistant. She talked many times of wanting to become a nurse. Rod says his mother would want her scholarships recipients to appreciate the offerings and opportunities a scholarship can provide and when the chance arises, pay it forward.
